Bowling is latest Ambassador event

Eagan Funfest Ambassadors go bowling in support of Winter Carnival Jr. Royalty

Good day Eagan, this is Avery again. This week in the life of an ambassador we went bowling for the Winter Carnival Fundraiser. To some bowling might be boring, but today was very eventful and fun.

When we got to Drkulas Bowl we were greeted by 2012 Eagan Ambassador Meghan Harwell. We got there at about 1:00 and had an hour to kill before bowling started. Luckily the time flew by as we were talking to the Winter Carnival people. Before long we were in our bowling shoes and testing out ball weights so we could play. Everybody but myself, Kari, and Reese had bumpers on their bowling lane. That probably explains why we got some of the worst scores of the day. (Although Kari did quite well.)
In the meantime Mia, Hanna, and Payton had all gone and bid on the silent auction the Winter Carnival had set up. They had bid on a basket full of candy. We also had some pizza and sprite to hold us over until we won the candy.
Another thing that was interesting was the announcer’s voice. For those of you who are unfamiliar they had a woman who would call off lanes and if that lane got a strike they would win anywhere from 25 cents to 3 dollars. She had the best laugh ever, and to top it off she would laugh after just about everything she said.
All in all it was some of the most fun I have ever had bowling. It was also really great seeing Meghan again too.

Thanks for reading!
