Jeylon took his dog Chloe for her daily afternoon walk. Chloe came back to the hotel without Jeylon so his brother went to look for him. His mom Winona called the police when he wasn’t found so a search was started. An officer found one of Jeylon’s shoes by the lake. Divers were called in to search the lake and found him.
Jeylon, a seventh-grader who homeschooled through Bloomington's Oak Grove Middle School, was "outgoing, fun-loving and adventurous" and liked coding games, the page said.
