Businesses Say ‘I Do’ to Providing Wedding Services to Same-Sex Couples

Two Eagan businesses have registered their services with Wedding Equality Minnesota.

Same-sex unions in Minnesota will be legal at 12:01 a.m. Aug. 1, 2013, and some local businesses, places of worship and organizations have said yes to providing wedding-related services to the Minnesota LGBT community, including two in Eagan.

From flowers to honeymoon planning to wedding venues,Wedding Equality Minnesota's website lists hundreds willing to share in the festivities. The website, which is a Project 515 initiative in cooperation with OutFront Minnesota, says:

“The businesses and organizations you’ll find here have stated that they are actively seeking to provide wedding-related services to the Minnesota LGBT community.”

Which Eagan companies and organizations have signed on?

Dickey's Barbecue Pit and Christine's Floral Touch have both registered their services on the website.
