Coronavirus: Over 4K In Dakota County Now Fully Vaccinated

Two shots are needed at least 21 days apart to be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — A total of 4,138 residents in Dakota County have received the two doses of the coronavirus vaccine required to needed to receive a full vaccination, according to the latest statistics from the Minnesota Department of Health.

That's out of the 17,245 — or 4.1 percent — of Dakota County residents who have received at least one of their COVID-19 vaccine doses thus far. Two shots are needed at least 21 days apart.

In Minnesota overall, 284,441 people — or 5.1 percent of the state — have received at least one dose of the vaccine. A total of 67,567 people, or 1.2 percent of the state, have received both doses.
