Crowning Achievements and other activities

Hello! This is Eagan Funfest Ambassador, Mia Eisenberg. The Ambassadors haven’t written in a while because we have been busy recruiting candidates for next year. We placed posters at places around town during December to help our efforts. Remember, if you, or anyone you know, is 10-19 years old, lives in Eagan, and is interested in volunteering look us up!
My favorite experience so far was the Crowning Achievements coronation. We went into the church and did a silly photo booth. Then, we went around and looked at the raffle baskets they had out. Payton, one of our Ambassadors, won soap! We found our seats and waited for the coronation to begin. The Crowning Achievements program is for men and women with special needs. There was a formal outfit competition and a talent portion. They all did great jobs. They don’t just have special needs, they have special hearts. They all are great people.
