The National Weather Service predicts most of the long weekend will have temperatures under zero, with wind chills around 20-30 below zero.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— With Valentine's Day falling on a long weekend, it would normally be the perfect time to get outdoors with your loved ones. But with freezing temperatures and wind chills in the negative 20s and 30s, it may be best to snuggle up inside.
The National Weather Service has put out a Hazardous Weather Outlook in anticipation of the cold temperatures.

Friday
Friday night will bring lows around 15-30 below, with wind chills around 27 below. Light snow will begin late Friday night, resulting in icy road conditions Saturday.

Saturday
The light snow will continue into the morning, with highs around two below. Wind chills will be around 23 below.
Saturday night will have lows around 19 below with wind chills around 36 below.
Sunday
Sunday morning will bring highs of around 6 below with windchills around 37 below.
Sunday night will have highs around zero, with lows of 24 below.
Monday
Monday will have highs around eight, with lows near 15 below.
The extreme cold is expected to continue through Tuesday. The coldest temperatures are expected to occur Saturday night with wind chills in the negative 30s and 40s.
