Diffley Bridge Closure In Eagan Begins Wednesday

EAGAN, MN — Motorists traveling eastbound on Diffley Road in Eagan will encounter a closure and a detour at the Highway 77 ramps beginning at 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 20.

Residents wishing to travel eastbound on Diffley Road should follow the signed detour using Highway 77, Cliff Road and westbound Diffley Road in order to bypass the closure. The ramps will remain open at all times.

Motorists traveling westbound on Diffley Road will use their usual lanes.

Eastbound Diffley Road is expected to reopen by June 27, at that time westbound Diffley Road will close and be detoured for seven days.

Transit officials say the closure is necessary as crews replace the bridge joints on Diffley Road over Highway 77.
