Drivers Who Died In Eagan Crash Identified

The head-on collision happened in the northbound lane of Johnny Cake Ridge Road and involved two SUVs, police said.

EAGAN, MN — The two drivers who died in a head-on collision on Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Eagan Monday have been identified. The victims were Cory Herman Hoesley, 33, of Hudson and Pamela Ann Schmidt, 66, of Apple Valley.

The crash happened on Johnny Cake Ridge Road near Sherwood Way at 5:40 a.m. Monday. Both drivers died from multiple blunt force injuries at the scene, according to the medical examiner.

There were no other occupants in the vehicles. The head-on collision happened in the northbound lane of Johnny Cake Ridge Road and involved two SUVs, police said.
