Eagan-area Youth Look for Mentors
Close to 60 local children are looking for an adult to mentor them through Kids 'n Kinship.

First name: Jake.

Interests: He enjoys playing basketball & football, riding his bike, watching scary movies, fishing, swimming, and model cars.

Personality/Characteristics: Jake is cheerful, energetic, and sweet. He lives with his grandma and is often bored and wanting to get out and do fun things like go to the park, the science museum, Valleyfair, or to Como Park.
Goals/Dreams: He will be in third grade in the fall and he is looking forward to taking science in school. He wants to learn how to breakdance.

Looking For: Jake is looking for an active young couple or individual man to mentor him.
For More Information: This child is one of 57 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session on July 28, 6-6:45 p.m. at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
