Eagan Attorney To Make 2nd Bid For MN Attorney General
Doug Wardlow was defeated by a nearly four-point margin in 2018 and told the Star Tribune he is ready for a rematch.

EAGAN,MN—An Eagan attorney and former legislator told The Star Tribune on Wednesday that he is making a second bid for Minnesota’s Attorney General.
Doug Wardlow, a former one-term Republican legislator, will challenge current Attorney General Keith Ellison in next year’s general election.
Ellison defeated Wardlow in 2018 in a nearly four-point margin, the Tribune reported.

Wardlow represented Eagan in Minnesota’s House from 2011 to 2013 and has since worked with Alliance Defending Freedom; a Christian organization that advocates for religious freedom, sanctity of life and marriage and family.
Wardlow is also general counsel to Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, and a strong supporter of former President Trump’s claims of a rigged election.

DFL Chairman Ken Martin told the Star Tribune, “Doug Wardlow is a right-wing extremist who will do anything for political power."
