Eagan Biennial Tree Sale To Begin March 22

Trees cost $31 each, and residents can buy up to two to plant.

EAGAN, MN—From March 22 to April 16, Eagan residents will be able to order up to two trees from the City of Eagan's biennial Tree Sale, the city said in a news release Monday.

Eagan residents will be able to choose from eight different options to plant:

  • Sienna Glen Maple,
  • Snowdrift Crabapple,
  • River Birch,
  • Bi-color Oak / Swamp White Oak,
  • Honeycrisp Apple,
  • Princeton Elm,
  • Hackberry
  • White Pine

The trees cost $31 each, the city said.

Tree pick-up will be May 8 at Eagan's Central Maintenance Facility, the city said.

“Protecting and growing our tree canopy is important. That’s why every two-years, we offer a chance for Eagan residents to buy trees through a city-sponsored tree sale,” Eagan forester Adam Schnaible said. “We know that as partners, the City and residents, we can maintain and grow one of our community’s best assets.”
