Eagan Enters Phase 2 of 360 Communities Project
Our Eagan is now in the second of three phases for a project working to improve early childhood and community engagement in Eagan.

Close to 50 people attended a forum this summer to see the unveiling of a project that will work to improve early childhood education and community engagement in Eagan.
Those results were recently released by 360 Communities, which is helping develop this project. The project - called Our Eagan - is now in phase two of three, said Hugo Munoz, community engagement coach for the Burnsville-based nonprofit.
A group of leaders for the Eagan project is now looking for about 40 co-leaders, Munoz said. Ideally, the co-leaders will be diverse in race, age and knowledge base, he said.

The co-leaders will help develop and execute specific plans in working to improve community engagement and early childhood education.
Ultimately, people working on this project will work to solve problems in these key areas by using existing local resources, Munoz said. The idea is not to create another program, but to use those that already exist, he said.
