Eagan Funfest Ambassador Program Seeking New Candidates

Want to participate in a leadership program and compete to be a year-round Ambassador for Eagan's Funfest? Are you between the ages of 10-19, and have not yet graduated from high school?

Then the Eagan Funfest Ambassador program wants you. The program is looking for next year's crop of candidates; the program is open to young men and women who live, go to school or worship in Eagan.

Candidates will have the opportunity to meet with adults, children and young adults as part of the program's regular activities. Activities include family potlucks, community events, volunteer projects, parades and participation in the Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest. Candidates will acquire relationship-building skills and gain new public speaking confidence.

Candidates are chosen by a panel of judges evaluating public presence, behind-the-scenes interactions, social skills, communication, attitude and volunteerism. The application deadline is May 31.
