Eagan Funfest Ambassador Scholarship Program Seeking Candidates
The Eagan Funfest is seeking candidates for their 2019-2020 Ambassador Scholarship Program.
The Eagan Funfest is seeking candidates for their 2019-2020 Ambassador Scholarship Program. The program made a significant change this year, by creating two Ambassador divisions: Junior Ambassadors for boys and girls ages 10-13 who can each earn a scholarship of $500 at the end of their reign; and the Ambassador division for young men and women ages 14-18 who can earn a scholarship of $2,000 at the end of their reign.
As an Ambassador, you will have a year filled with fun, adventure, and personal growth. You will represent your community through parades, festival attendance, coronations, and much more. You will also have opportunities to volunteer and bring awareness to many worthy causes in our community.
The candidate process starts in May and lasts approximately six weeks. Candidates acquire relationship-building skills and gain confidence in public speaking. Candidate activities include: a family potluck, volunteering, participating in a parade, interviews, and a final coronation ceremony.
