Eagan Funfest Ambassadors are Honored to Represent Eagan Community Throughout the Year

Ambassador Emma Anderson Excited to See New Ambassador Candidates

Finishing off the year with one last blog article, this is Emma Anderson a 2016-2017 Eagan Funfest Ambassador. As my time as an ambassador is coming to a close I am so grateful for this opportunity and the doors it has opened for me. This past week, we spent time doing an informational meeting for our future candidates and their families. This was a very fun way to reflect as we told our candidates all kinds of stories from our adventures this year. I really can’t believe the year has flown by and I was a nervous candidate just 12 months ago. The saying, “time flies when you’re having fun” could not be more relevant right now! While this meeting felt a little bit like the beginning of the end of my ambassador journey, I am so excited that a new group of young men and women will have the chance to experience this. I have gained so many new skills from this program, not to mention many community connections and new friends! I can’t wait to get to know the future Eagan Funfest Ambassadors and I have no doubt in my mind that they will serve the community with the utmost pride. It has been an absolute honor this year representing the wonderful Eagan community. Overall, this opportunity was so eye-opening. The city of Eagan has so many moving parts and such great organizations. I hope wherever my future leads me, that I always have the opportunity to interact with the members of my community again, as there is nothing I love more! Thank you to everyone who made this incredible year what it was. Signing off for the last time, this is Emma Anderson, a 2016-2017 Eagan Funfest Ambassador.
