Eagan Funfest Seeking Youth Ambassador Candidates
Ambassador Program Information Meeting on May 3rd at Think Bank

Eagan’s July 4th Funfest is seeking young men and women ages 10-19 to participate as candidates in the Eagan Funfest Ambassador Program. Candidates who live in Eagan, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Sunfish Lake, and Rosemount are eligible to apply. Those who attend school or worship in Eagan are also eligible. The Candidate Program begins in May with Ambassadors selected on July 10th, 2017.
Ambassador candidates promote and participate in Eagan’s July 4th Funfest celebration through appearances, volunteer tasks, and button book sales. A panel of judges will make the Ambassador selections based on observations of candidate social interaction skills, communication, attitude and volunteerism.
Funfest Ambassadors represent Eagan throughout the year participating in community events, parades, festivals, volunteer activities, and service projects. The Ambassadors qualify for an academic scholarship which is awarded after successfully completing their year of service.
