Eagan High Among Top Public Schools In MN For 2021

EAGAN, MN — Eagan Senior High School is among the best public high schools in Minnesota, according to a new ranking for 2021.

Niche, a school search and data platform, released its 2021 Best Schools rankings Friday. The new rankings feature 94,710 public schools, 24,099 private schools and 11,822 school districts nationwide, including schools in Minnesota.

Niche's 2021 rankings combine user input — including comments from students, alumni, and parents — with quantitative data. Other factors include teachers, resources, facilities, extracurricular activity opportunities, and diversity.

Eagan High School has just over 2,000 students in grades 9-12. It features a student-teacher ratio of 20 to 1. State test schools show that 70 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 76 percent in reading.
