A 19-year-old man was killed in a skateboarding accident Tuesday night.
Gunnar Miller was killed when he was holding onto the side mirror of a moving car, let go and fell, hitting his head on the pavement, St. Paul police told the Pioneer Press. The incident occurred in the Merriam Park area.
Holding onto a car while on a skateboard or bike is commonly referred to as “skitching.”
