Eagan Plows Begin Digging Out after Weekend Storm

Eagan snow removal teams began working at 6:00 a.m. Monday.

Eagan snow removal teams began working at 6:00 a.m. Monday following the weekend's snowstorms. Crews will continue re-plowing and treating collector streets and cul-de-sacs as needed throughout the day today.

Trail and sidewalk plowing started Monday morning with an estimated completion date of Wednesday.

County Roads including Pilot Knob Road, Yankee Doodle Road, Lone Oak Road, Diffley Road, Cliff Road and Lexington Avenue are managed and plowed by Dakota County.

State Highway 77 (Cedar Avenue), Highway 13, Highway 149, and Highway 55 are managed and plowed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, as are Interstate 35E and Interstate 494.

Winter Parking: Daytime Odd/Even Parking System in Place

Residents and businesses are reminded that Eagan's daytime odd/even parking schedule remains in place from November 15 – April 15:
From 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • On even days: Parking is allowed on the side of the street with even house addresses.
  • On odd days: Parking is allowed on the side of the street with odd house addresses.

From 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • Parking is allowed on both sides of the street every night.

The ordinance is in effect from Nov. 15 to April 15 whether there is snow on the ground or not. Vehicles in violation of the parking ordinance may be ticketed and towed.
