Eagan Schools Prepare For All 3 Fall 2020 Scenarios

Last month, the Minnesota Department of Education asked school leaders to plan for three different scenarios this fall.

EAGAN, MN — The Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District has released a draft of its "flexible learning model" that outlines plans for the three possible scenarios state officials told districts to prepare for in the 2020-21 school year.

Last month, the Minnesota Department of Education asked school leaders to plan for three different scenarios so that school communities can be flexible amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The three scenarios are:

  • In-person learning for all students
  • Hybrid learning with strict social distance and capacity limits
  • Distance learning only

The plans for fall will be finalized after Thursday's announcement from the state.
