Eagan Tree Sale Sells Out Within Days
To maximize participation, the city said next year it will begin an annual tree sale. The tree sale was previously biennial.
EAGAN, MN— Due to an overwhelming interest in this year's biennial tree sale, all the trees have been sold out, the city of Eagan said.
The sale began March 22, with trees selling out within days of the opening date, the city said.
Eagan Forestry Maintenance Supervisor Adam Schnaible told Patch that it is common for trees to sell out at these sales.

400-500 trees will be planted this year in accordance to the numbers Schnaible told Patch in a prior interview about why Eagan residents care so deeply about trees and wildlife.
The city said that in 2022, they will switch to an annual tree sale to maximize participation.

Those who purchased trees can pick them up May 8 at the Eagan Central Maintenance Facility during their pre-selected pickup time.
