Eagan's Assistant City Admin. Internationally Credentialed

EAGAN, MN— The Assistant City Administrator of the City of Eagan was recently credentialed by the International City/County Management Association, the association said.

Dianne Miller recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from ICMA, and is one of over 1,300 local government management professionals credentialed through ICMA's credentialing program, the association said.

Miller has nine years of professional local government executive experience and has served the city of Eagan for 20 years, the association said.

As Assistant City Administrator, Miller oversees teams such as City Clerk’s Office, Human Resources, and Information Technology, the city said. She is also part of various committees throughout the city and led the renovation efforts for City Hall, the association said.

Miller has also been a member of ICMA since 2001 and has served on many of its committees and taskforces, the association said.

Miller has also contributed to other organizations including:

  • Serving on the Board of Directors for several years
  • Serving this past year as president of the Minnesota City/County Manager’s Association
  • Chairing the local government education and outreach committee
  • Leading an effort to partner local government administrators and schools to educate students on local government service delivery and career opportunities
