Open House Tours at Eagan's Old Town Hall

What do you know about the history of your hometown?

The Eagan Historical Society wants to make it easy for you learn about Eagan’s history, so it is holding two fall Open Houses at the 1914 Town Hall. The first Open House is on Sunday, Oct. 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second is on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Bring your friends, family, Scout troop or community organization and tour the historic Town Hall.

Visit with Historical Society volunteers about Eagan’s past and what the community was like in its Township days. Look at photos and displays depicting 1900s farming, Eagan’s earliest schools, the area’s founding families, the First Ladies of Eagan—those women who led the way in service to the community, and more. Enjoy free refreshments. Kids can take home a souvenir of their visit.

If you have an interest in Eagan’s history, these are the events for you. The popular Eagan On Deck history cards and Lone Oak Years books will be available for purchase as well.
