Eagan Hy-Vee Re-Opens After Fireworks Set Off In Store

Three juveniles were arrested in connection with the fire.

EAGAN, MN — Eagan Hy-Vee re-opened Tuesday after fireworks were set off in the store Monday afternoon, it said.

Hy-Vee said that employees spent the night cleaning up and re-stocking the store.

Juveniles are in custody in connection with the fire, Eagan Police Department said.

Police said a witness saw juveniles start the fireworks display on fire before running away.

The juveniles were found a half-mile away and were taken into custody, police said. The 14, 15 and 16-year-olds have since been released pending charges from the Dakota County Attorney's Office, police said.
