First Male Ambassador for Eagan reports in
Lone Oak Days in Eagan creates historical activities

Hi everybody and, welcome to my second blog! As an Eagan Funfest ambassador I’ve been to quite a few places since I last had blogged including going to even more parades, more volunteering, and WAY MORE FUN!!!!!! Our most recent event Lone Oak Days at Holz Farm is what I’m going to talk about in this blog.
This event was definitely one of my favorites so far and, it was great seeing over 1100 people show up, on just Sunday alone! At the beginning of the event we all checked in to the main tent and then got straight to work. My job at the beginning was to greet people at the entrance and, hand them schedules. It was great, just like at the national night out, to see everyone there before a quick lunch break and, switching to the tricycle tractors and, laundry station. At the tractor tricycles it was very cool to see all the children having fun riding around little tricycle tractors. The laundry station was probably my favorite thing that I did there. In the laundry station there was an old fashion washing board and a bunch of clothes that the kids could come up and wash like old times. It was very fun just to show the kids how it was back then plus my mom found it hilarious that I washed the clothes even when no one was around. The house right next to the tractors, and laundry had some of the best applesauce and butter I’ve ever tasted. Once we reached 3:00 it was time to get excited because it was time for the pie eating contest in which almost every ambassador competed in. The pumpkin pie was delicious and I almost won the competition! After that I wrapped up the night with a delicious brat for dinner and my brother Colby insisting I catch his favorite chicken.
This event was one of my favorites because I greeted the people most of the time and really had fun meeting everyone. It is also one of my favorites because everyone that went had a blast (including me!) and, that makes you feel good while volunteering.
This is Reece Peters Eagan Funfest Ambassador signing out.
