Here's How Many Dakota County Residents Have Been Vaccinated
Over 1.6 million Minnesotans have received their first dose of the vaccine.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN— A total of 125,999 residents— or 38 percent of the county— have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Of those, 78,481 residents — or 23.8 percent of the county — have received both doses.
In Minnesota overall, 1.6 million people have received at least one dose. About 1 million people, or 18.8 percent of the state, have received both doses.

Overall, the state has been averaging giving about 46,916 shots per day on average, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
In all, over 2.5 million vaccines have been shipped to Minnesota providers, and 584,090 vaccines have been shipped to long-term care facilities for the CDC long-term care vaccination program.

Governor Tim Walz recently expanded vaccine eligibility in Minnesota to everybody aged 16+.
