RENTCafe, a blog that studies rentals in each state, conducted a study to analyze how much space can be rented on average in 38 cities in Minnesota.
The data was analyzed by Yardi Matrix, a company that researches and reports on large-scale multifamily properties.

In Eagan, residents can rent apartments of 967 square feet for $1,400 of monthly rent, which is 36 percent more space than renters can get in Minneapolis on the same budget, the site said.
The city that has the most space for $1,400 is St. Cloud, which can get you 1,446 square feet, the site said.
