Interstate 35E To Close Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Nights

The closures are necessary for work on the I-35E/Duckwood Drive interchange south of Pilot Knob Road.

Eagan drivers will see road closures overnight on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights as construction workers put bridge beams on the I-35E/Duckwood Drive interchange south of Pilot Knob Road, according to a statement released by the city of Eagan.

Here is a breakdown of what drivers will see:

Monday and Tuesday:
From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., I-35E south will become a single lane from Lone Oak Road to Diffley Road. The ramp from Pilot Knob Road to I-35E south will also close.

From 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., I-35E south at Pilot Knob Road will close. A detour will be available, taking drivers south on Pilot Knob Road, and then west on Diffley Road to I-35E, according to the city.

Wednesday:
From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., I-35E north will become a single lane from Diffley Road to Pilot Knob Road. Lanes on I-35E north will close from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., a statement from the city says.

From 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., the ramp traveling I-35E north to Pilot Knob Road will close. A detour will take drivers along Duckwood Drive, Lexington Avenue and Yankee Doodle Road, according to the city.
