ISD 196 To Offer Online Learning For 2021-2022 School Year

EAGAN, MN—Independent School District 196 has decided that it will offer the option of online learning for the 2021-2022 school year, the district announced Wednesday.

In-person classes will also be offered for students who prefer in-person learning.

Enrollment for 196Online for the 2021-2022 school year is open until March 4, the news release said.

196Online will be district-wide, and have teachers from the school district as well as access to the same academic support available in an in-person classroom, the news release said.

Middle and high school students enrolled in 196Online will be able to participate in co-curricular activities at the school in the area they would otherwise attend, the news release said.

High school students enrolled in 196Online will be able to take up to three in-person electives, if the classes are not offered online, the news release said.
