ISD 196 Secondary Students To Return To School 4 Days Per Week

Wednesdays will remain distance-learning days for most students.

APPLE VALLEY, MN— Independent School District 196 announced that students in grades 6-12 will be able to return to school four days per week beginning April 20.

The recommendations for this decision were approved by the school board at its April 12 meeting, the district said.

Virtual learning will still be an option for the rest of the school year for families who choose this option, the district said.

Students will attend school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesdays remaining a distance learning day for most students, the district said.

Social distancing will be decreased from six feet to three feet, like in elementary schools, which may cause more quarantines, the district said.
