Lightning Strike Sets Eagan McDonald's Roof on Fire
Lightning struck the roof of the McDonald's on Silver Bell Rd. around 3:10 a.m. Monday morning, according to reports.
Lightning met an Eagan McDonald's roof Monday morning, setting the roof briefly on fire.
According to the Star Tribune, flames were first reported to 911 about 3:10 a.m. by someone passing by the fast-food restaurant on Silver Bell Road of Highway 13. The Eagan Fire Department confirmed with Fox 9 News that there was minor damage.
A firefighter suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene, according to Fox 9.
The restaurant opened for business as usual today.
