Man Shocked By Electricity In Eagan; In Critical Condition

EAGAN, MN— A man remains in critical condition after he was shocked by electricity on Vikings Parkway in Eagan Wednesday, patrol officer Aaron Machtemes said.

Officers were told by the caller that the man had been shocked after stepping into a puddle that had an electrical cord in it, Machtemes said.

The man was unconscious and not breathing, Machtemes said.

Officials performed CPR on the man and he was taken to Regions Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
