Memorial Service Planned For Mother Who Died After Eagan Crash

EAGAN, MN — A memorial service has been planned for the Eagan mother of two who passed away from injuries suffered in an August crash. Alayna Marie Tanaka was driving an SUV that was hit by a semi Aug. 13 in Eagan.

The service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Crossroads Church (17671 Glacier Way, Lakeville) at 11 a.m.

Tanaka, 33, of Eagan, died on Oct. 18 "while receiving hospice care at the home of her beloved sister, Valora," reads her obituary published, by the Star Tribune.

"She was surrounded by her loving husband, cherished children and close family."
