EAGAN, MN — MV Eagan Ventures, founded by Minnesota Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf, announced today new ownership partners in the development of a four-star, full-service hotel in Eagan. The 356,000-square-foot hotel will be constructed on Eagan’s Viking Lakes campus, and is set for completion next year.

Joining the Wilfs are Minnesota-based Ecolab, in addition to investor groups Ma Mi Ma Real Estate Holdings LLC — headed by Mark, Mitch and Marty Davis — and Viking Lakes Hotel Physician Partners, a private group of physicians. Each ownership partner brings a specific area of expertise to the hotel’s development, Mark Wilf said in a release.

“This hotel will be a great asset for the community and the region, and we are proud to work with individuals and companies who have a strong history in this market and a passion for investing in Minnesota,” he said.

The 14-story hotel includes 320 guest rooms and suites, hospitality lounges, a restaurant, rooftop bar, spa and fitness center. The hotel also plans to offer event and ballroom space, as well as meeting rooms. Of the total 356,000 square feet, 25,000 square feet will be comprised of a ballroom, a junior ballroom, multiple meeting rooms and an event center.

The hotel is a component of Eagan’s Viking Lakes Campus, a mixed-use development that will include more than 3 million square feet of corporate and medical offices, retail, entertainment and multi-family housing. Anchored by the Minnesota Vikings team headquarters and practice facility, the campus will include open and public spaces, trails, wetland preserves and other amenities.
