Fundraising Underway For Eagan High School Senior Party
This year's senior party will take place June 5 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Valleyfair.
EAGAN, MN— Fundraising is underway for Eagan High School seniors to attend their 2021 senior party.
This year’s senior party will take place June 5 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Valleyfair. The party’s website says that the seniors will have Route 76 of the park all to themselves.
To fund this event, the organization — Eagan High School Senior Party Inc. — is selling tickets for $100 each as well as fundraising for scholarships for students who can’t otherwise afford to go.

The organization is hoping to raise $30,000. Part of this money will go towards scholarships for students who would like to attend the event, and the rest of the money will cover transportation costs, security, and paying for prizes and giveaways, Isaiah Allen, head of the fundraising team, said.
In order to receive a scholarship to the senior party, students must contact their guidance counselor, Allen told Patch.

The organization will also give some of the money to the class of 2022, to help them in their fundraising for next year’s senior party, Allen said.
As of Tuesday, Allen told Patch that 92 tickets have been sold out of the 300 student goal and $4,000 has been raised so far, Allen said.
This year, Eagan High School Senior Party Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, meaning that donations are tax deductible, Allen told Patch.
Allen told Patch that this year due to the pandemic, the organization is unable to hold in-person fundraising events.
The organization is collecting funds through cash donations, businesses donating funds, selling “Eagan High School Class of 2021 Strong” yard signs for $20, and through their GiveMN site, Allen said.
Allen told Patch that the party wants to celebrate this year’s seniors, who lost the end of their junior year and the majority of their senior year due to COVID-19.
“We are hoping to give the seniors at least one experience where they can connect with their peers,” Allen said.
