
EAGAN, MN — With a snowstorm making its way through the Twin Cities metro, residents of Eagan may be wondering what the parking rules are during a snow emergency. "Snow and ice control is a large task, and an important one, managed through our skilled Public Works staff," the city notes.
"Clearing the snow and ice from City streets to ensure the best of service is an undertaking only meant for the best of teams."

Snowplowing start time is typically 4:00 am the day of the snow event.
Main roadways are plowed first then side streets/cul-de-sacs. The day after an event has been cleared crews will start trails & sidewalks.
Dakota County plows County Roads - Cliff, Diffley, Lexington, Lone Oak, Pilot Knob and Yankee Doodle. Contact them at (952) 891-7900.

Garbage containers need to be 4 feet behind the curb.
Parking restrictions are in effect 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. even/odd days.
