Summit Hires Three New Physicians

Summit Orthopedics has hired three new physicians who are working at its Eagan, Woodbury and Vadnais Heights locations

Summit Orthopedics is to pleased to announce that three new physicians have joined the organization, including Dr. Catherine Choi and Dr. Pooja Mundrati, both of whom specialize in back, neck and spine care, and Dr. Debra Parisi, who specializes in hand and wrist care.

All three physicians are valuable additions to the Summit team and bring extensive academic and professional credentials. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Choi, Dr. Mundrati, and Dr. Parisi to the Summit Orthopedic family,” said Adam Berry, Summit CEO. “We take great pride in the patient-centered care we provide at Summit, and I believe each of these physicians will help us further that work.”

Dr. Choi received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago. She completed her Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to joining Summit, Dr. Choi served as medical director of Chronic Pain Services for NorthShore University HealthSystem in Chicago.

Dr. Mundrati received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, N.J., and she completed her Interventional Spine and Sports Fellowship at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix. Prior to joining Summit, Dr. Mundrati was a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with Advanced Rehabilitation Care in Chicago.

Dr. Parisi received her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York, and she completed her Hand and Microvascular Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Most recently, Dr. Parisi was an attending orthopedic surgeon specializing in the upper extremity at Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in New Windsor, N.Y.

All three physicians practice at Summit’s Eagan and Woodbury locations. Dr. Mundrati also practices at Summit’s Vadnais Height location.
