Teen Killed In Eagan Crash During Sunday Snow

Police say the 17-year-old girl was not wearing a seat belt.

EAGAN, MN — A 17-year-old girl was killed in a single-car crash on a snowy and icy Eagan road Sunday afternoon. Just after 4 p.m, a Ford F-250 was traveling westbound on Highway 55 in the left lane — approaching Lone Oak Road — when the driver lost control and the truck rolled into the median.

The rear passenger — Angely Burgos-Salas, of Minneapolis — was ejected from the truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries in the crash.

The teen was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
