Winter Carnival Highlights

Reece shares his experiences regarding Eagan Ambassador Activities with St. Paul Winter Carnival

Hello! Eagan Funfest Ambassador Reece here for another exciting month of events!
January around here means one thing...St. Paul Winter Carnival! We attended some festivities including the coronation of the newly crowned Junior Winter Carnival royalty. It was a beautiful ceremony and it really emphasized what the spirit of the winter carnival is all about.
Saturday was the King Boreus Grande Day parade. The parade was a walking parade where we carried these huge snowflakes on a stick throughout the streets of St. Paul. The parade had a great turnout --over 100,000 visitors were expected in town that day(!) -- and it was really meaningful to me that I got to be in a parade that so many people were watching!

Those amazing events make me even more pumped up for the next event in our roster. The Eden Prairie ice castles!
Watch for our Eagan Funfest Ambassador posters up around town! We’re starting to identify potential candidates for the coming year! Will it be you?
