Winter Farmers Market, Skating Lessons and Ice Rinks: An Eagan Weekend
Also happening in Eagan this weekend are Christmas services.
Here are some Eagan area events from Dec. 20-22. Find more activities under the Events tab on Patch or add your own.
Register for skating lessons at Eagan’s Skate School by Jan. 2. Classes fill on a first come, first served basis. Classes run occur on varying dates from Jan. 6 through Feb. 15. To register, visit the Eagan Parks and Recreation on the city website.
Eagan Outdoor Ice Rinks Open
Eagan's outdoor ice rinks open on Dec. 20. For current conditions call Eagan's Recreation hotline at 651-675-5511. Choose option three for Outdoor Ice Rinks and Tubing Hill. The hotline is updated one hour before opening times and when conditions change.
Normal Operation Hours:
MOMS Club Eagan West Member Social
The social will include a presentation on updating a wardrobe and dressing for your body type. A cookie exchange is also part of the event. Those wishing to participate should bring three dozen cookies in plastic bags of six cookies each.
When: 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20
Where: Peace Church, 2180 Glory Drive in Eagan
Eagan Winter Farmers Market
The market opens at 9 a.m. at the Eagan Community Center. Some of the products available at the market include root vegetables, bakery items, artisan breads, and jams. There are also supplies for creating your own gift basket.
When: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21
Where: Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Parkway
Thrive Christmas Service
Thrive is the band-led worship service at Advent United Methodist Church in Eagan. The special Christmas service will include a break-out children's program. Nursery care is available during the service.
When: 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22
Where: Advent United Methodist Church, 3945 Lexington Avenue South
