Items Sought for History of Washington County High School Sports Exhibit

Do you have old high school sports memorabilia hanging around in your office or storage space? If you do, check this out.

A group of staff members from Washington County’s Historic Courthouse and historical society are working together to create an exhibit about the history of high school athletics in Washington County.

The group is looking for photographs, artifacts, news clippings, uniforms, and equipment representing all high schools in the county to help tell the story.

The exhibit will be in the vault exhibit area of the Historic Courthouse in Stillwater and will run from mid-March to mid-October.

The final selection of display items will be made during the week of Feb. 14. Exhibit items will be returned to their owners when the exhibit is completed in October.
