'Berry Special Pie' Wins Joseph's Family Restaurant's Annual Baking Contest

A “Berry Special Pie” won this year’s pie-baking contest at Joseph’s Family Restaurant.
Gladys Earl, of Menomonie, Wis., took home the 2013 Grand Prize with her raspberry pie in a chocolate-cookie crust, topped with whipped cream cheese.
"This pie looks great and even taste better," Joe Kohler, owner of Joseph's said.

Earl won $200, and will have her name added to the pie-baking winners display at the restaurant.

Brian Nichols was first runner up, and Mary Christy was second runner up.
There were 24 entries in all, Kohler said.
