STILLWATER, MN — Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year, and many government offices and businesses will be closed Dec. 25 in observance of the holiday. Here's list of what's open and what's closed in Stillwater for Christmas 2017:
- Post office: Closed
- Federal offices: Closed
- Stillwater: City offices are closed. Call your licensed refuse hauler regarding holiday pickup hours.
- Washington County: Offices closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 25
- South Washington County Schools: Winter break lasts from Dec. 21 to Jan. 2
- Banks: Closed
- Gas stations: Most will remain open
- Stillwater School Calendar: Winter break lasts through Dec. 25 through Jan. 1.
- Liquor stores: All Minnesota liquor stores are legally required to close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and must remain closed on throughout Christmas Day

- Other retailers: Call ahead to confirm holiday hours
