FOREST LAKE, MN — A former Forest Lake coach was booked into jail Monday on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with a volleyball player in 2017, according to The Minneapolis Star Tribune.

According to the report, the former coach, Mark R. Kosloski, sent the woman a text last month apologizing "for everything I've ever done that hurt you or anyone else," and the woman turned the message over to police.

Kosloski’s attorney denied the allegations, telling the Star Tribune that a friend of the volleyball player messaged the former coach on Facebook before the woman involved police, asking for $5,000 in lieu of her sending the message to Kosloski's wife and colleagues.
