'​This Couple Takes Care Of Our Society': Stillwater Heroes

STILLWATER, MN — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Is the nominee considered an "essential worker"?:

Yes

What does the nominee do for work?

Heidi is a child protection social worker. Tony is a prison guard.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

This couple takes care of our society. Both the children who cannot stand up for themselves and prisoners. They also have 5 kids. 3 of which are too young to be a part of the mandatory daycare. So they also need to find assistance in care for their kids.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

They are always happy. Even though they are working with some of the most difficult results this quarantine.
