Former Stillwater Teacher, Librarian Dies At 57

Deborah Ann DeSteno, described by loved ones as a dedicated teacher and librarian, passed away on June 17 at 57. DeSteno was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Morris DeSteno. She is survived by her brothers, Dennis, Bob, and Frank, her twin sister, Donna, and her daughters, Miranda and Marina.

DeSteno worked at the Stillwater Public Library and was a substitute teacher at Stillwater Public Schools. She was also an adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Funeral visitation hours will be held starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 25 at the Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater, according to the Stillwater Gazette. A service will be held at 4 p.m.
