Roberts’ book is a series of sonnets written in the voice of the Antarctic explorer, Robert Falcon Scott. It is based upon the explorer’s actual journal entries, recreating the Heroic Era of polar exploration, before the advent of modern transportation, communications or mechanical technologies.

Co-sponsored by Marine Community Library and the St. Croix Watershed Research Station’s Artist at Pine Needles program.
