Girl, 4, Dies After Drowning 'Accident' At Twin Cities Hotel

MOUNS VIEW, MN — Authorities have identified a 4-year-old girl who died at after a drowning accident at a hotel in the Twin Cities late last month. Lamyah Lou Yvette Reece was injured at the AmericInn in Mounds View on Jan. 25.

She was transported to Children's Minneapolis, where she died Monday, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Moundsview police and the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol are investigating the incident.
