I-694 Westbound To Close Near Stillwater This Weekend
An eastbound Interstate 694 closure is scheduled for the weekend of July 9 for the same project.
OAKDALE, MN — Drivers who use westbound Interstate 694 in the Stillwater area will encounter a full closure starting Friday at 10 p.m. through Monday at 5 a.m. Westbound I-694 will close entirely between 10th Street in Oakdale and Highway 61 in Maplewood for concrete repairs, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
"Motorists should follow the posted detours and allow extra time to reach their destination," the department said.
"To accelerate the road work and lessen traffic impacts, crews are scheduled to work 24-hour shifts during each closure starting on Friday evening and continuing through the weekend to complete the work by early Monday morning. "
