Lakeview Hospital President To Retire July 2

Ted Wegleitner announced he will be leaving Stillwater's Lakeview Hospital and retiring after a 34-year-career at HealthPartners

STILLWATER, MN —Ted Wegleitner announced Monday he will be leaving his role as president of Lakeview Hospital and retiring after a 34-year career with HealthPartners, the Bloomington-based health system that manages Lakeview.

Wegleitner, who plans to step away July 2, has served as the president of Lakeview since 2014. He also oversees administrative operations at Stillwater Medical Group and multiple hospitals in Wisconsin: Amery Hospital and Clinic, Hudson Hospital and Clinic and Westfields Hospital and Clinic in New Richmond, WI.

"It has been an honor and a privilege to work with the tremendous team at Lakeview Hospital," Wegleitner said in a statement. "Together, we've built a strong, collaborative and caring culture that puts our patients first. I know that Lakeview is positioned well for the future.

Previously, Mr. Wegleitner was president and COO of Bloomington-based TRIA Orthopedic Center, a subsidiary of HealthPartners.
